A few days ago, after two days of data collection and operational monitoring, the single-unit testing of the 4 sewage lift pumps in the sewage lift pump station part of the zero-emission facility and related infrastructure for Yan’an’s comprehensive utilization project of coal, oil, and gas resources, which was constructed by the third company of Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., was completed successfully on the first attempt. The goal for the pipeline water-flow testing phase is to ensure that the 4 sewage lift pumps at the sewage lift station are ready for operation by October 12, 2019; this is done in order to convey the sewage from the southern area to the high-density tank of the zero-discharge system (one of the tanks in the hardness removal unit). To achieve the milestone targets on time, Company Three established a pump unit commissioning team composed of fitters, plumbers, electricians, instrument technicians, and technical staff. Before the test run, Company 3 carried out detailed planning and arrangements. The person in charge of equipment technology assigns members of the commissioning team to conduct a thorough inspection of the tightness of the foot bolts and connection bolts, the stability of the coupling covers, the level of lubricant in the oil tank and bearing housings, as well as various indicator instruments, electrical systems, and piping systems. Once the inspection confirms that everything is in order, the single-unit commissioning process begins. During the commissioning process, fitters, plumbers, electricians, instrument technicians, and others carried out their respective tasks in accordance with the commissioning plan to ensure smooth operation. The technicians measure and monitor various parameters during the trial operation of the pump set, such as the temperature of the motor bearings, voltage, current, temperature of the pump bearings, and vibration speed at the bearing housing of the pump set, every 5 minutes. Over the course of two days, the test team worked overtime, conducting repeated measurements and observations; as a result, each individual pump operated smoothly, with all performance indicators being within normal ranges. The individual tests of all 4 sewage lift pumps were successful on the first attempt.
