Recently, the ceremony for the handover of the substation was held for the Jianyuan Coal Coking Project’s ethylene glycol production from furnace exhausts, a project that is under the general contract of Hualu Technology and constructed by Shiliu Hua Jian. In the presence of representatives from all parties involved in the project, representatives from the construction company, supervision agency, management unit, and project owner signed the intermediate handover certificate. The Jianyuan Ethylene Glycol Project Team of Hualu Technology follows the project commissioning procedures, organizing the final stages of the project on a unit-by-unit and system-by-system basis, and carrying out the \"three inspections and four determinations\". In accordance with the requirements for startup and debugging, it takes measures to eliminate all remaining issues. At the same time, carefully review the relevant project documents, identify any deficiencies, and develop a plan for rectifying and submitting the documents. Through the efforts of all parties, the handover of the first batch of main items/units of the project was completed, successfully marking the commencement of the project’s handover process. Next, the EG project team of Hualu Jianyuan will proceed with the handover procedures for the subsequent process units such as gas generation, purification, and PSA, striving to achieve full project handover and actively creating favorable conditions for the owner to carry out comprehensive trial operations. The Jianyuan Coal Coking Plant’s project for producing ethylene glycol from coke oven exhaust gas utilizes the syngas-to-ethylene glycol technology developed by Shanghai Pujing Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., with engineering design provided by Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. Using 64,500 Nm3/h of coke oven gas as raw material, and through processes such as storage in gas tanks, pressurization, non-catalytic conversion with pure oxygen, desulfurization and decarburization, further desulfurization, syngas separation, ethylene glycol synthesis, and distillation, this plant is capable of producing 240,000 tons of ethylene glycol per year. Jianyuan Coal Coking Company was established in November 2005; it is a modern integrated enterprise invested and built by Inner Mongolia Sanwei Resources Group, focusing on coal mining, coal washing, coking, and chemical manufacturing ； The company is located in Qipanjing Town, Etoke Banner, Ordos City, with a registered capital of 400 million yuan; it currently has 1,200 employees ； At present, it consists of three subsidiaries: a coal washing plant with a production capacity of 3 million tons and a coking plant with a capacity of 1 million tons. The coal chemical industry chain is in its initial stages of development, and the products include coking coal, refined coal, medium-grade coal, as well as tar, crude benzene, sulfuric acid, sulfur, and various chemical products such as pure benzene, toluene, and xylene produced through the refining of crude benzene.
