Author/Source: China Tianchen Date: 2022-02-24 Clicks: 16 Recently, the Analysis Center of Tianchen Company’s Technology R&D Center successfully passed the audit conducted by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (hereinafter referred to as CNAS) and obtained a laboratory accreditation certificate (CNAS registration number L15955). This indicates that the analysis center of the technology R&D center possesses the technical capability to conduct tests in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard, and is eligible to use the CNAS** laboratory accreditation mark as well as the ILAC International Mutual Recognition Mark within the scope of its accreditation. The mutual recognition of test reports provides strong support for companies to enhance their competitiveness in the technical market and improve their ability to expand into overseas markets. CNAS stands for China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment. It is a accreditation body approved and authorized by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China. CNAS is responsible for accrediting relevant organizations such as certification bodies, laboratories, and inspection agencies. CNAS evaluates and oversees the management and activities of conformity assessment bodies (such as certification bodies, laboratories, and inspection agencies) to determine whether they are capable of carrying out relevant conformity assessment activities (such as certification, testing and calibration, inspection, etc.), as well as to confirm the authority of their conformity assessment activities. It thus plays a role in enforcing accreditation standards. The Analysis Center of Tianchen Company’s Technology R&D Center is equipped with over 30 world-class analysis and testing devices, offering more than 100 types of analytical tests for various R&D projects and pilot productions, including tests on basic physical properties, structural analysis, thermal analysis, elemental analysis, and microscopic morphology analysis. The analysis center has successively completed various tasks such as the upgrading of system documents, operational activities, and measurement audits, and successfully passed CNAS’ on-site audit in December 2021. The scope of this certification covers 6 testing items, including molecular sieve catalysts, and involves 17 standards. The establishment of CNAS-related systems has made the management and quality systems of the analysis center more standardized and professional, resulting in a comprehensive improvement in its analytical and testing capabilities. This successful CNAS accreditation is yet another significant achievement resulting from Tianchen’s implementation of a “one core, multiple elements” development strategy, which centers on technological research and development as its core, while continuously refining its quality management system.
