Successful one-time ignition of Xinjiang Yihua’s circulating fluidized bed oxygen-enriched gasification furnace Author/Source: xjyh Date: 2020-09-07 Clicks: 85 At 10 a.m. on September 6, upon a command, an orange-red flame rose slowly from the bottom of Gasification Furnace No. 3, marking the successful one-time ignition of Xinjiang Yihua’s first 3×40,000 Nm3/h circulating fluidized bed oxygen-enriched gasification furnace. At 11 o’clock, the #2 gasifier was also successfully ignited. This marks a good start for the resumption of operations in the third phase at Xinjiang Yihua, laying a solid foundation for subsequent processes. Xinjiang Yihua’s 3×40,000 Nm3/h circulating fluidized bed oxygen-enriched gasification unit represents the most advanced new coal chemical processing technology in the industry today. It consists of five major systems: the coal feeding system, the gasification furnace system, the waste heat recovery system, the purification system, and the auxiliary systems. The three gasifiers in this unit replace the original 20 atmospheric-pressure oxygen-enriched fixed-bed continuous gasifiers, making full use of the local abundant coal resources. This approach not only solves the environmental problem associated with coal tar produced by fixed-bed gasification but also increases the automation level of the unit, reduces the workload on workers, and ensures intrinsic safety.
