The company plans for its subsidiary, Wuhai Heimao Carbon Black Co., Ltd., to invest in the construction of a \"carbon black production project with an annual output of 120,000 tons.\" The total estimated investment for the project is 180.13 million yuan, with a construction period of 12 months. Two new 60,000-ton carbon black production lines will be built, along with accompanying steam and power units. The construction site is located in the Xilai Feng Industrial Park, Hainan District, Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Once the project is put into operation, it will be able to produce 120,000 tons of carbon black per year, and the by-product carbon black exhaust can generate an additional 48 million kWh of electricity annually. It is understood that Wuhai Black Cat currently has an annual production capacity of 160,000 tons for regular carbon black and 20,000 tons for special carbon black. The newly built production line will further increase its production capacity and overall utilization efficiency.
