The groundbreaking ceremony for the solar electrolysis hydrogen production, energy storage, and comprehensive application demonstration project of Ningxia Baofeng Energy was held on the morning of April 17th. The Ningxia Baofeng Energy Solar Electrolysis for Hydrogen Production, Energy Storage and Comprehensive Application Demonstration Project is the first environmental-friendly project in the hydrogen industry of the Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base. It is also the first new project to commence construction during Baofeng Energy’s efforts to resume operations on a full scale, holding significant social and economic importance. This project is currently the world’s largest integrated facility for solar-powered water electrolysis to produce hydrogen for energy storage (10*1000 Nm3/h), and in the future further research will be conducted on the technology of using hydrogen and carbon dioxide to produce olefins ； The construction of this project also fills the gap in new energy hydrogen production within the environmental protection business segment of China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation.
