This not only helps to minimize pollution but also further enhances the market competitiveness of the fertilizers. The 300,000-ton/year synthetic ammonia technological upgrade project of Xinyangfeng uses two multi-nozzle opposed water-coal slurry gasifiers. 1 in use and 1 as backup. It will be constructed in two phases. The gross synthesis gas volume at the gasification unit boundary in Phase 1 is 106,000 m3 (CO+H2)/h.
