Contract for engineering design of Anyang chemical raw material route upgrading project signed! Author/Source: Yahuac Coal Chemical Industry Date: 2020-04-23 Clicks: 71 On April 20, Wuhuan Company successfully signed an engineering design contract for the project of centralized production of industrial gas for use in the ceramic industry park of Anyang Ruimeida Clean Energy Co., Ltd. On April 21, the company successfully signed an engineering design contract for the upgrade project of the raw material processing route at Anyang Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. In January 2020, it was learned that following the approval of the safety requirements for the upgrade project of the raw material processing route at Anyang Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd., the environmental impact assessment report for this project was also approved by the Anyang Environmental and Ecological Bureau recently. Due to outdated processes and aging equipment, high production costs, and low efficiency, the gasification units (atmospheric pressure fixed-bed batch gasification, gas holders, atmospheric pressure desulfurization, etc.), purification units (medium-temperature shift, alkaline scrubbing for desulfurization and decarbonization, low-temperature shift, advanced desulfurization, methanation reactors, etc.), ammonia synthesis units, and urea production units in the Anhua Group’s original production facilities have ceased operation. One set each for ammonia/urea production, 37–52# fixed-bed reactors (a total of 16 units), as well as the purification systems, Boiler No. 4, Boiler No. 8, and waste combustion furnaces, are planned to be dismantled so that the land can be used for the construction of this new project ; The coal yard is upgraded and renovated based on its original footprint. Upon completion of this project (expected by the end of 2021), the atmospheric pressure fixed-bed batch gas generators (30 in total) and their purification systems will be shut down and removed, as well as the two sets of ammonia synthesis units. The newly built ammonia synthesis units and the existing ethylene glycol production units will be supplied with raw gas by the newly installed water-coal slurry furnaces and purification systems. The gasifiers No. 1–4 will continue to operate, providing raw gas for the existing methamine/DMF and sodium formate production units, as well as for the newly built formamide production unit. The total investment for the project is 3,666.18 million yuan, with environmental protection investments amounting to approximately 26.49 million yuan, accounting for 0.72% of the total investment.
