Name of the construction project (1) Project name High-Efficiency Energy-Saving Technology Upgrade Project of Huahua Chemical Group Co., Ltd.’s 700,000-Ton Annual Urea Production Facility (2) Location of the project The project is located within the premises of Huahua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. at No. 1 Jinping Avenue, Dangyang City, Hubei Province. (3) Project investment The total investment for this project is 230 million RMB. (4) Details of the construction project Huahua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. currently has three urea production facilities, namely Facility No. 1, Facility No. 2, and Facility No. 3; all of these facilities use the aqueous solution full-circulation production process, with a total annual production capacity of 700,000 tons. Due to relatively backward production technology, the equipment has high energy consumption. Against this background, the company plans to carry out technical upgrades to the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 urea production units, replacing the production process based on full circulation of aqueous solutions with a carbon dioxide stripping process. This will help reduce various types of consumption, improve economic efficiency, and enhance the company’s competitiveness in the market. The project is constructed in two phases, using carbon dioxide stripping technology. The first phase of construction requires an investment of 150 million yuan to renovate the No. 1 and No. 3 urea production units, expand two production workshops, and replace production equipment such as urea synthesis towers, high-pressure ammonium methoxide condensers, and high-pressure stripping towers. The second phase of construction involves an investment of 80 million yuan to renovate the No. 2 urea production unit and replace similar production equipment. After the technical upgrade, the total annual production capacity of 700,000 tons of urea remains unchanged. II.
