The Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy circulating water residual pressure power generation project successfully passed the acceptance inspection for its safety facilities. On January 26, Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy organized experts, as well as units responsible for the evaluation, design, and construction of the project, to conduct an on-site acceptance inspection of the safety facilities for this power generation project. The experts present listened carefully to the presentations given by Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy and the evaluation agency, reviewed the relevant documents and materials, and inspected the site. Ultimately, the expert group unanimously concluded that the excess pressure power generation project could pass the completion inspection for safety facilities. The circulating water residual pressure power generation project is a new energy-saving initiative. It involves installing a turbine generator on each of the 7 return pipelines for the comprehensive circulating water system, in order to recover the residual pressure energy from the circulating water. The recovered energy is converted into electrical power and fed into the company’s internal power grid for use by other devices; the annual power generation volume amounts to 6.7144 million kWh. Based on the information gathered and the on-site inspections, the expert group concluded that the excess pressure power generation project was constructed and built in strict accordance with the requirements for safety facility design; the surrounding environment met safety standards, electrical and monitoring/alarm devices were available in sufficient quantity, and all necessary safety protection devices were present. The control measures such as monitoring and alarm systems implemented during production complied with relevant regulations, allowing the project to pass the acceptance inspection for safety facilities. The group also provided further suggestions for improvements. Today, as a number of energy-saving projects such as low-level energy recovery upgrades and energy-saving modifications to urea systems have been put on the agenda, energy conservation and consumption reduction have become another major focus, alongside safety and environmental protection. In its future work, Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy will firmly establish a sense of cost awareness, integrate this culture into all aspects of project development, seek efficiency through technological innovation and profits through project construction, in order to help the group company build high-quality projects.
