On July 24, Micah Kiffer, the technical manager at Air Products Corporation in the United States, and his team visited Nanjing Dunxian Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. to carry out technical calibration of the controlled heat transfer conversion reactors used in Jutai’s 1000,000-ton ethylene glycol production project, as specified in the contract between the two parties. This project marks the first collaboration between a foreign company in the field of heat transfer conversion and a domestic technology supplier, laying the foundation for the expansion of controllable heat transfer conversion technology overseas. It is understood that AP Company conducted a series of risk assessments on the shift reactor for this 1 million-ton ethylene glycol project, and in the end, the Nanjing Dunxian controllable heat transfer shift reactor passed the evaluations successfully, making it AP Company’s long-term partner. The implementation period for this project is 12 months. Once implemented, it can significantly reduce system investment and energy consumption compared to traditional technologies, while enhancing the safety and stability of system operation.
