Xinjiang Tianye Group Huihe New Materials Co., Ltd.: Paving a new path for deep-cold separation technology in the coal chemical industry. Author/Source: Date: 2022-12-04 Clicks: 32. Recently, it was learned from the **Intellectual Property Office that the “Deep-Cold Separation and Purification System for Co-Production of LNG” developed by Xinjiang Tianye Group Huihe New Materials Co., Ltd. has been granted approval, thus opening up a new pathway for deep-cold separation and purification technologies in the coal chemical industry. It is understood that **under the backdrop of energy structure adjustment and the ‘dual carbon’ goals, how to recycle and make comprehensive use of the mixture generated by gasification units has long been a challenge for the entire industry. As a coal chemical enterprise, Tianye Huihe also faces the challenge of recovering and reusing the mixture generated by the gasification furnace during its operations. To this end, relying on its advanced intelligent digital platforms and its own experience in coal chemical production, the company established a technical research team to carry out extensive research efforts in areas such as reducing the energy consumption of its products, promoting low-carbon practices, and achieving higher-value utilization of coal resources. Ultimately, the company successfully applied cryogenic separation technology to concentrate methane in the mixed gas into a liquid state, and then used a superheater to burn the liquid methane to generate heat, thereby producing 9.8 MPa superheated steam for use in turbine power generation ; The gases such as carbon monoxide and hydrogen obtained through simultaneous separation are sent to downstream production units, improving the separation and recovery rate of syngas and reducing the company’s production costs by over 2 million. “Since the implementation of this project, the problem of difficult recovery and low utilization rate of the mixture gas has been resolved. The amount of mixture burned at present has significantly decreased, and environmental protection efforts have also seen a substantial improvement. Wang Fayou, the person in charge of the purification workshop, said that this patented technology holds great potential for adoption within the coal chemical industry and can serve as a model for similar applications. In recent years, the company has continued to pursue an innovation-driven development strategy, strengthening innovation platforms and fostering innovative entities to achieve deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application, while also addressing the bottleneck issues in large-scale coal chemical production. To date, the company has filed over 50 patents in the areas of energy conservation and emission reduction as well as waste recycling; of these, 25 are invention patents, and 22 have been granted. These patents lay a solid foundation for the company’s technological innovation efforts and high-quality development.
