According to a report from June 2011, the first batch of 120,000 tons of polypropylene produced by Shenhua Ningmei Group passed physical and chemical property tests as well as usability evaluations at Shaanxi Weihe Plastics Co., Ltd. The test results show that this batch of polypropylene particles is uniform in texture and has a bright color. Its physical and chemical properties, including melt flow rate (MFR) and cleanliness, meet the requirements specified for \"Polypropylene (PP) Resin\", with some of these technical parameters being superior to those of petroleum-based polypropylene. Under the same process formulation and process parameter conditions, this polypropylene resin exhibits better rheology and plasticizability than petroleum-based polypropylene resins. The plastic filaments and fabrics produced from it exhibit higher breaking strength and elongation rates compared to the petroleum-based polypropylene grades such as T30S and F401, which are commonly used in the market.
