The main steam pipeline at Jiujiang Xinlianxin is the most important steam pipeline in the entire plant; it features high design temperatures and pressures, and its length is considerable. Including all pipelines owned by Hangyang, its total length is nearly 1,500 meters. Construction on this pipeline began at the end of May, and it took 3 months to complete all the work. Due to the long length of this pipeline and its numerous branches, the pressure testing team established a WeChat group for steam pressure testing on August 26 to ensure the smooth progress of the testing work. On September 2, thanks to the efforts of the pressure testing team, and with the witnesship of representatives from Zhongda Supervision, the Sixth Factory, inspectors from Jiangxi Provincial Special Equipment Inspection Institute, Jiangxi Hangyang, and Jiujiang City National Inspection Institute, the pressure reached the test pressure at 10:06. After 10 minutes of pressure holding, there was no significant change in pressure; it dropped to the designed level. After another 30 minutes of pressure holding, the pressure remained constant. The relevant steps followed the procedures specified in the pressure testing plan, and the hydrostatic test was completed successfully. The successful completion of this main steam hydrostatic test is the result of the joint efforts and cooperation between Jiujiang Xinlianxin and Jiangxi Hangyang, and it also sets a good foundation for subsequent joint chemical cleaning and steam purging.
