High current in the vacuum belt dryer

On the vacuum conveyor belt, the no-load current is normal; but as soon as slurry is poured in, the current increases by two to three times along with that of the vacuum pump. It turned out that this situation didn’t exist; even after replacing the filter cloth, the current only decreased slightly before returning to high levels again.
Should we check whether there are any abnormalities in the material parameters of the slurry?
Two belt conveyors, one of them is working properly.
Remove the filter cloth for a short period of time to check whether the current is normal. Normal, it’s an issue with the filter cloth pore size or the medium. The abnormality has nothing to do with the filter cloth; continue to look for other causes
