What are good ways to improve the heat exchange efficiency when the circulating water in a heat exchanger is very dirty?

Check whether there are any issues with the water quality in the circulating water system; if nothing is wrong, there might be a leak in the heat exchanger
Check the water quality in the circulating pool to see if the hardness and alkalinity levels are above the limits; Increase the amount of biocides and scale inhibitors added ; Empty each water cooler’s drain one by one to check for leaks ; Increase the discharge volume of circulating water and enhance replacement ; Check the quality of the replacement water ; Check whether there is any vaporization in the return water temperature of the water cooler
Add a filter valve between the water inlet and the pipeline; if that doesn’t work, then the only option will be to replace the water source
If the water is too dirty, scale formation is likely to occur, which reduces the efficiency of the heat exchanger and can also cause problems in the operation of the equipment; it’s better to replace the incoming water directly
The problem can only be identified by checking the circulating water plant. In addition, the manual valve at the outlet of the heat exchanger in the unit should be adjusted to a lower setting, in order to maintain a higher flow rate, prevent corrosion beneath the scale, and improve the heat exchange efficiency
