How to handle the emergency shutdown due to interlock in a hydrocracking turbine, and what issues need attention
Open the back pressure valve to vent to the atmosphere, shut down the steam seal cooler, quickly establish the quick-shut oil interlock reset, and start up unit 505
It drives the backpressure unit and the condensing unit as component units. Generally, there are more back-pressure units. In the case of a back-pressure unit, first open the vent valve when shutting down the unit, then slowly close the steam seal cooler; after the unit has come to a complete stop, open all the water supply valves. In the case of a condensing unit, after shutting down the unit, turn off the jet water (jet steam) ejector. Once the vacuum has been reduced to atmospheric pressure, shut off the shaft seal cooler. After the unit is completely stopped, open all the water supply valves. Once the cause of the shutdown is identified and confirmed to be correct, the system will be restarted
The system initiates an emergency vent to prevent pressure buildup and maintain positive flow. The crew investigates the cause, eliminates it, and then starts the machine.
