Risk of replacing the flare smoke suppression steam valve

The workshop plans to replace the valve in the secondary smoke-suppression steam branch line connected to the flare. The outlet of this valve is directly connected to the flare and cannot be disconnected. The workshop supervisors have ordered that the main steam valve be closed, so that the smoke-suppression steam branch line valve can be removed after cooling. However, no protective measures have been taken at the end of this line that is connected to the flare; could backflow occur as a result? How great is the risk? I would be extremely grateful if some experienced professionals in the chemical industry could offer some advice.
Your valve is on the steam pipeline; there will be no backflow of flame as long as there is no combustible gas in the pipeline. Additionally, once the smoke-reducing steam enters the flare, it is located below the flare burner; there is suction inside the flare, so even if there are flammable gases present, they will not flow into the steam pipeline. This is fine, no problem.
