It’s suspected to be the oil from the hydrogen compressor, but it never makes sense. In winter, the flow meter starts to show inaccurate readings. Where does the oil go?
First, it is necessary to determine whether this oil is a lubricant or a light hydrocarbon. If it is lubricating oil, then check whether the oil levels in the circulating hydrogen pressure system and the new hydrogen pressure system have dropped significantly, in order to determine where the lubricating oil is coming from. If it’s light hydrocarbons, what is the operating temperature for cold fractionation? Is it too high? Is there any foaming of the amine solution in your recycle hydrogen desulfurization tower?
1. Don’t doubt that the compressor has oil! It’s impossible to carry that much oil! Otherwise, problems would have arisen long ago! 2. Check whether the hydrogen flow rate for purging is normal; if there is no flow meter, simply verify whether there is any flow! 3、~~~~~~~~~~~~
The circulating hydrogen contains oil; check the liquid level in the liquid separation tank at the circulating hydrogen inlet, keep it at a low level, and reduce the temperature at the circulating hydrogen inlet, which is also the temperature at the separator inlet
We have the same problem: the reaction temperature rise is low, and the cold hydrogen valve has never been used. After a while at the beginning, issues arose with the cold hydrogen flow meter, as a large amount of liquid was discharged; when there was too much liquid accumulated, the pressure sensing wires of the flow meter as well as the cold hydrogen pipelines began to vibrate more intensely. This is actually due to the liquid contained in the circulating hydrogen accumulating over time due to lack of flow. Now we require that the cold hydrogen valve be opened for a short period during each shift, and the accumulation of liquid has improved significantly
