Does long-term high-cycle operation of hydrogen production equipment cause damage to the catalyst?

The hydrogen production unit using coker dry gas was switched from normal operation to full large-cycle mode, with the hydrogenation reactor being taken out of service. Is there any harm to the conversion catalyst and the medium-shift catalyst during the large circulation process? Does the steam supply amount need to be adjusted?
The circulating medium is non-toxic to the conversion catalyst, and control of the water-to-hydrogen ratio does not cause reduction.
