Naphtha hydrogenation catalysts are generally not regenerated and must be disposed of in an environmentally safe manner. It’s better to keep the stripping temperature low.
Replace it thoroughly with nitrogen, keep the reactor at a slight positive pressure, and work inside wearing a long-tube respirator. To remove the catalyst, it must be properly protected using dry ice or nitrogen. Where is anthracene oil hydrogenation done? Baoshun?
The methanol cracking catalyst I replaced earlier required a temperature of below 50°C.
