Does the oxygen content in the converter affect not only the negative pressure of the furnace but also its temperature? Why? Is it true that the higher the oxygen content, the more complete the combustion? The higher the thermal efficiency?
Of course not; when the oxygen content is too high and there is an excess of air, more heat will be carried away by the flue gas, resulting in a decrease in efficiency.
The oxygen content in the flue gas should be kept between 2-4%; a high excess air ratio results in low thermal efficiency

A higher oxygen content is not necessarily better. The higher the oxygen content, the less complete the combustion is; heat is carried away by the air, resulting in a higher temperature in the convection zone. If the oxygen content is too low, combustion will also be incomplete, and the fuel gas will not burn fully. Our control value here is also 2–4%.
You can understand it this way. First, your furnace must be under negative pressure. If the oxygen content is increased, it is necessary to raise the blower volume; to maintain negative pressure, the exhaust volume also has to be increased. The faster the air flow, the more heat can be carried away.
There is not a strong relationship between the oxygen content in the converter flue gas and the negative pressure in the converter; the higher the oxygen content in the flue gas, the more heat is carried away, the more fuel is consumed, and the lower the heat exchange efficiency of the converter.
