If black smoke is observed coming from the chimney, insufficient combustion in the heating furnace is considered. It is assumed that, first, there is an insufficient oxygen level in the furnace (due to a faulty blower or overly small opening of the primary and secondary air valves), which leads to incomplete combustion; second, a fault in the fuel gas control valve results in too much fuel gas entering the furnace; In addition, it is also possible for the gas system to contain a large amount of oil; if there is a lot of black smoke, we would naturally think that the furnace tubes might have burned through.

First, inform the operator on-site to identify the cause of the problem through the system and adjust the process parameters.

First, check whether the oxygen level in the furnace is sufficient. Second, check whether the fuel gas contains liquid. If neither of the above issues exists, it is possible that a cracked furnace tube is causing the furnace to emit black smoke.
