How to address the large fluctuations in PSA flow rate under medium-pressure gas inlet conditions? Seeking advice
Is there any fluctuation in the upstream traffic? Is there a problem with the control system of the regulating valve? Are there any fluctuations in pressure drop downstream? Analyze and rule out each option one by one to identify and eliminate the ultimate cause.
It fluctuates in the same way as the medium variable air flow rate
The main reason is likely incomplete cracking during a certain period (possibly due to insufficient reaction temperature or an inappropriate water-to-carbon ratio). Is the temperature for medium transformation appropriate?
Hydrogen production from dry gas or natural gas?
1. The water-to-carbon ratio should be kept stable. 2. The temperature at the outlet of the conversion furnace should be maintained stable. 3. The pressure at the outlet of the compressor should be kept stable. I think the inbound traffic to PSA should improve. (The prerequisite is that there are no major leakage points in the previous system, and that the safety valve has not activated or failed to return to its original position.) All vent valve doors are at the appropriate closed position as required
It is caused by the alternating adsorption in the pressure swing adsorption units, and it is necessary to adjust the adsorption time
What is PSA in terms of tower count? It is related to the alternating adsorption by pressure swing adsorption in the towers.
