The amount of water generated is observed to make a judgment

Sulfur penetration marks the starting point for the gradual sulfidation of the catalyst at its oxidation state; increasing the temperature further will not cause reduction of the catalyst
Penetration simply indicates that the sulfur absorption at this temperature point has reached saturation, and it is now possible to increase the temperature; there is no need to worry about catalyst reduction at high temperatures. Increase the temperature according to the sulfidation curve until the final strengthening temperature is reached.
