I would like to ask fellow sailors: what are the main criteria for increasing or decreasing the dosage of scale inhibitors in hydrogenation units? Check the properties of the raw materials? Change in the final temperature of the heat exchanger? Raw oil linear velocity?
There is generally a technical protocol for adding scale inhibitors; first, a pre-coating is carried out, and after that, the addition is done in accordance with the technical protocol.
