How to deal with intermittent water injection in the hydrogen production deoxidizer?
Intermittent water spraying indicates that the pressure or water inflow rate of your deaerator is unstable; you can switch to manual control to stabilize it first, and then resume automatic operation!
With the inlet valve in manual mode, the pressure in the deaerator fails to drop and remains fluctuating around 50 kPa; Deaeration steam is not in use; only the steam from the drum’s drain tank, after being heated by demineralized water, enters the deaerator, where the temperature reaches 102 degrees℃
It’s about intermittently spraying water with a negative pressure setting; this is related to the pressure in the deaerator. Currently, the pressure in the deaerator won’t drop; Making adjustments to the row size doesn’t seem to cause any changes; deaeration steam is not being used – only desalinated water heat exchange and the reuse of stripping water take place. I would appreciate some advice.
The pressure is already this high even when the deaeration steam is not in use; think about why that is This indicates that the amount of flash steam generated in sequence is too large; too much of it is used as deaeration steam, which counteracts the drop in density of the deionized water and leads to intermittent splashing. Two solutions: 1. Reduce the amount of steam fed into the deaerator in series to ensure that water can flow downward. 2. Increase the discharge from the on-site deaerator so that the inlet water can suppress the steam.
The vent valve at the top of the deaerator is already fully open, and the drain pipe with a DN20 diameter has been reduced to 1 turn; there is no change in the pressure inside the deaerator; Now I suspect it is caused by unstable heat exchange between the desalinated water and the medium-pressure gas; the volume of desalinated water flowing varies around 10 T/h, and the valves are set to manual mode. Why is there such large fluctuation in flow rate? Almost all of the medium-pressure gas flows through the auxiliary line of the heat exchanger. Seeking advice, thank you!
If conditions permit, temporarily remove the medium-pressure vaporizer; once the demineralized water is stable, reintroduce it gradually, being careful of flow rate fluctuations! I personally think there is air blockage in your demineralized water process... Check the high points of the demineralized water system to see if there are any vents available; release some air!
The level in the deaerator is too high; the level measurement is inaccurate. Another thing is whether the vent design is too small.
What is the temperature of the deionized water entering the deaerator, and what is the temperature of the purified water? Is the temperature above the limit? What size is your hydrogen production plant, if the demineralized water production is only 10 t/h?
25,000 Nm3/h; the unit is not operating at full capacity, so the amount of desalinated water produced is around 12 tons, and the stripping water is also reused. The inlet water temperature also fluctuates around 102 degrees, and the pressure fluctuates as well.
