For threaded ring heat exchangers, why are the bolts numbered after they are removed? Don’t bolts of the same specification are interchangeable? Also, the bolts used to remove the cover of the hydrogenation reactor were marked as well – what was the reasoning behind that?
Bolts, nuts, and washers of special thickness should be matched by number. Clear numbering should be done before disassembly. Place it back in its proper position during reinstallation. It can prevent problems such as thread jamming, seizure, and contact between the top of the inner hole of the cover nut and the bolt.
