After the undriven end of the hydrogen feed pump’s axial displacement increased slightly for 2 days, it returned to normal. Who knows what’s going on here?
There are no fluctuations in the pump’s flow rate or head
There are no changes in pump flow, lubrication, or cooling
Displacement is caused by an imbalance in axial forces; was the balance pipe blocked, and did it become unblocked on its own after a couple of days? It’s a bit strange that there’s no pressure buildup at the outlet
Has the magnetic center line of the motor changed?
Has there been any change in the lubricant temperature? Oil temperature also has an impact on axial displacement
Could it be that the probe is dirty or contains foreign objects, which causes it to fall off and then everything returns to normal?
I am very grateful to all of you for your help. The feed pump is currently under observation; we will switch to another pump to handle the task when the time is right
Changes in the axial displacement at the free end of multi-stage centrifugal pumps: Variations in the inlet and outlet pressures of the medium, changes in the medium flow rate, and temperature fluctuations can all lead to changes in axial forces
For the PI database, regarding the axis displacement over time, you need to check 4 parameters: 1. Hydrogen mixing flow rate, 2. Opening degree of the feed pump return control valve, 3. Feed volume, 4. Reactor pressure difference.
