The basis for determining the steam injection volume in the diesel hydrodesulfurization stripper has been identified through some experimentation, as summarized below; please feel free to provide any corrections! 1. The recommended amount of stripping steam is 4%-10% of the total feed volume. 2. The product does not contain hydrogen sulfide. 3. The pH of the oily wastewater in the fractionation tower is not acidic.
The most important principle is that the oil-containing wastewater at the top of the distillation tower must not contain hydrogen sulfide. The pH value is around 8. Iron ions should be no more than 5.
