Burners and sulfur furnaces usually do not need to be insulated, otherwise they are prone to overheating. However, it is necessary to add a rainproof and anti-scalding cover, and have exhaust outlets on the upper and lower parts.
The lowest temperature where our equipment is located is minus 20 or 30 degrees Celsius. Is it okay without insulation?

Usually there are requirements for the outer wall temperature of a sulfur furnace or incinerator, so recently designed documents generally add thermocouples to the furnace wall to monitor its temperature. The temperature cannot be too low, otherwise dew point corrosion will easily occur. If there is no rain cover, the temperature of the furnace wall will drop sharply once it rains, eventually leading to dew point corrosion.
