Photovoltaic plants and IC chip factories: Most industries in the silicon sector use hydrofluoric acid, or even mixed acids. The best way to handle waste hydrofluoric acid is to reuse the fluorine resources. My approach involves removing silica from the waste acid; the current removal rate is 99%, after which the fluoride ions are converted into compounds. This allows for the full utilization of fluorine resources, in line with policies aimed at resource recycling
Our company currently has a 150t/d production facility that is operating well. All the recovered acid is reused; the sulfate content is approximately 20%, thereby enabling the recycling of acid waste from pickling processes.
