Construction of Transfar Chemical and Daikin Fluorine Chemical’s special emulsion project begins

On September 8, the groundbreaking ceremony for the special emulsion project jointly undertaken by Transfar Chemical and Daikin Fluorochemicals was grandly held at the site of the Transfar Yixun Waterproofing Agent Project Department. Xu Xun, vice president of Transfar Group, noted that the launch of the Transfar & Daikin specialty emulsion project is an important step in advancing this strategic partnership, following the 30th anniversary celebration of their cooperation in June this year; it marks the official entry of this partnership into a phase of substantive development. He said he hopes that both teams will make full use of their respective strengths, work together efficiently, adhere to strict standards, and ensure quality, so as to push for the early completion and operation of the project. Together, they should turn this project into a model for advanced and green manufacturing, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the industry as well as the high-quality progress of Xiaoshan District’s economy and society. Mori Katsuiki, Vice President of Daikin China, said in his speech that it was a great honor to work together with Transfar Chemical on the special emulsion project, marking a new beginning for their partnership. He recalled that Daikin and Transfar have been working together for 30 years; in the course of Daikin Industries’ century-long history, one-third of that time has been spent collaborating with Transfar. Over the past 50 years since its introduction, half of that time has seen Da Jin’s waterproof and oil-resistant products developing in partnership with Transfar. He pointed out that looking to the future, we must work together to continuously expand the production scale and range of products at our new factories, not only to serve customers in the domestic market but also to go overseas and tap into broader international markets. Finally, he expressed his sincere gratitude to all those who had worked hard for this ceremony and to those who would continue to work together in the future. In light of the growing trend internationally in the textile industry to restrict the use of PFAS-containing water repellents, developing eco-friendly fluorine-free water repellents has become an industry consensus. The implementation of this collaborative project not only aligns with the strategic development goals of both companies but also conforms to the trend of high-quality development in the industry. It will undoubtedly bring new opportunities for Transfar and Daikin, as well as inject new momentum into the progress of the industry.
