Recently, the 2025 Haicang District Investment Promotion Conference was successfully held, where 45 high-quality projects were signed on site, with a total investment of 28.5 billion yuan. Among these projects is the high-performance materials project undertaken by Shenzhen Titan Future Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Titan Future”). It is reported that Titan Future plans to invest 1 billion yuan in building an industrial base for high-performance carbon-based and ceramic-based semiconductor composite materials. The product lineup includes silicon carbide (SiC) coated products, tantalum carbide (TaC) coated products, bulk silicon carbide, and polycrystalline silicon carbide composite substrate materials. The annual production volume is expected to be around 1 million composite substrates, and the output value is likely to reach 1 billion yuan by 2027. Public information shows that Titan Future was established in 2021 and is a high-tech company dedicated to the research and development as well as production of high-performance carbon-based and ceramic-based semiconductor composites. Leveraging Central South University’s extensive technical expertise in carbon-based and ceramic-based composite materials, the company has developed various key semiconductor consumables as well as next-generation wafer materials through independent research and development, thereby breaking through foreign technological monopolies and achieving import substitution. Its products are primarily used in semiconductor, new energy, and future innovative industry applications.
