Environmental improvement project for a 20,000-ton-per-year sodium fluosilicate production facility in Guizhou Chuanheng for the treatment of fluorine-containing exhaust gases

On February 16, a public notice regarding the environmental impact assessment for the environmental protection technical renovation project of the 20,000-ton-per-year sodium fluosilicate plant for treating fluorine-containing exhaust gases, undertaken by Guizhou Chuanheng Chemical Co., Ltd., was released prior to approval. The details of the project are as follows: Project name: Environmental protection technical renovation project for the 20,000-ton-per-year sodium fluosilicate plant for treating fluorine-containing exhaust gases； Construction unit: Guizhou Chuanheng Chemical Co., Ltd ； Construction location: Within the premises of Guizhou Chuanheng Chemical Co., Ltd. in Longchang Town, Fuquan City ； Project investment: 3.84 million yuan ； Project nature: Technical transformation ； Construction contents: The project plans to make use of the existing idle factories in the site, and construct a transfer tank area for raw material fluorosilicic acid, a reaction unit area, a centrifugal washing unit area for sodium fluosilicate, as well as an area for dissolving and temporarily storing sodium sulfate raw materials. Utilities and supporting facilities are based on those already available in the plant area. A production line for sodium fluosilicate with an annual capacity of 20,000 tons was established. Project timeline: Construction is expected to begin in January 2026, with completion and operation starting in October 2027; the construction period will be 22 months.
