Haohua Gas wins bid for 3,000-ton high-purity sulfur hexafluoride supply project. Recently, Haohua Gas was awarded the contract for supplying 3,000 tons per year of high-purity sulfur hexafluoride and providing strategic support for this purpose, by China National Electrical Apparatus Corporation. As a leading enterprise in China’s specialty gases industry, Haohua Gas holds a market share of over 60% in the domestic market for ultra-high purity sulfur hexafluoride, which is used in applications such as flat-panel displays. The quality of its products is at an internationally advanced level, earning it high recognition in the market. Previously, Haohua Gas has established long-term and stable partnerships with numerous industry leaders, covering key sectors such as electronic information, energy and power, and healthcare. China Electric Equipment Corporation is at the forefront in areas such as ultra-high voltage power transmission and smart grid construction. Going forward, Haohua Gas will provide reliable power insulating gas support for the related projects of China National Electrical Apparatus Corporation, helping to further improve the performance and reliability of its electrical equipment.
Sulfur hexafluoride is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula SF6. At normal temperature and pressure, it is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic, and non-flammable stable gas. Its molecular weight is 146.055, and its density at 20°C and 0.1 MPa is 6.0886 kg/m3, which is about 5 times that of air. The molecular structure of sulfur hexafluoride is octahedral; the bond distances are short and the bond energies are high, which contributes to its high stability. At temperatures not exceeding 180°C, its compatibility with electrical insulating materials is similar to that of nitrogen.
