According to Sinochem New Network, on December 27, 2025, the management committee of the Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone in Mengjin District, Luoyang City, Henan Province, and the management committee of the Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone in Songxian County, Luoyang City, held a signing ceremony for the fluorine chemical industry park project. It is understood that the Fluorine Chemical Industry Park will leverage Songxian County’s abundant and high-quality fluorite resources as well as the industrial foundation in fluorine chemicals in Mengjin District, focusing specifically on areas such as fluorine-containing fine chemicals, new fluorine-based materials, and electronic chemicals, in order to promote the pilot testing of scientific and technological achievements and their industrial transformation. The Fluorine Chemical Industry Park is located within the Petrochemical Park of the Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone in Mengjin District, with a total planned area of approximately 1,547 mu. Phase I covers an area of 282 mu, while Phase II covers 318 mu. He Wuzhou, deputy head of the Luoyang Political Consultative Conference and secretary of the Mengjin District Party Committee, said that the establishment of this fluorine chemical industry park in Mengjin is a vivid example of the regional collaborative development and partnership between Mengjin and Songxian. Mengjin District will focus on the implementation of high-quality industrial projects and the development of fluorine chemical industry clusters, providing ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle, accelerating the approval process, and ensuring adequate supply of necessary resources, so as to enable these industrial projects to start construction and begin operating as soon as possible.
