Recently, the construction site of the Zhangping Jinfu Fluorite Mine processing project, located in Wuci Township, Zhangping City, has been bustling with activity. Tall tower cranes are operating in an orderly manner, construction vehicles are moving back and forth constantly, and workers are working hard at various work sites to meet the construction deadlines. In the residential area, brand-new and tidy dormitory buildings and complex buildings have been constructed; the main structures and exterior wall decorations are complete, with final installation of facilities underway. Entering the core production area, construction workers are working together with large lifting equipment to install the equipment in the flotation workshop and the grinding and flotation workshop; technicians are on hand to make precise adjustments. Once the equipment installation is complete, work will begin on installing the exterior walls and roof panels. Lai Jingwen, assistant to the general manager of Fujian Jinfu Mining Co., Ltd., said that the project is progressing smoothly overall. 98 million yuan has been invested in the processing plant and its associated facilities, and more than 7,400 meters of infrastructure tunnels have been constructed underground. The project is expected to be completed in May this year, with official production starting in August. It is reported that this project is a key provincial project. The mining site in the Fengshan fluorite mine of Wuci Township, which serves as the basis for this project, is the first mining site approved in Zhangping City since the revision of the Land Management Law in 2019. It is also currently the largest approved mining site in Fujian Province in terms of area. The total investment in the project is 500 million yuan. Two fluorite concentrate production lines are planned to be built, and upon completion and operation, it is expected that an annual output of 250,000 tons of fluorite concentrate can be achieved. Upon completion of the project, it will further extend the local fluorite industry chain, effectively promoting the development of related industries such as fluorine chemicals, and injecting new momentum into the high-quality economic development of Zhangping City.
