The issue of preparing as-built axonometric drawings for use in the design of pressure pipelines during construction

The axonometric drawings in the design documents prepared by the design institute are completed by the construction party, which assigns welder numbers, weld sequence numbers, inspection methods, as well as locations for rework and additional testing; these drawings are then stamped as part of the final pipeline installation drawings. Should we not use a completion seal and instead use a single-line diagram, with the design firm then finalizing the change orders and other details in the construction drawings before issuing the completion drawings? We encountered such a problem in one of our projects. Archivists believe this is not the same thing. The construction unit prepares a single-line diagram, and the design institute should prepare the as-built drawings based on the scope of the construction drawings.
In the past, the single-line diagrams were all drawn by the construction units themselves. It was only after the adoption of 3D design that the concept of axonometric drawings appeared in China’s relevant standards. I believe that the manufacturing and installation of pressure pipelines follow the same principles as those applied to pressure vessels; therefore, the design institutes should not be responsible for producing the as-built drawings. As part of the as-built drawings for pressure pipelines, the axonometric views should be prepared by the construction party, with annotations made and the as-built seal applied. I would like to learn about the situation of other projects in China in this regard
The construction unit shall prepare a single-line diagram (which should be consistent with the design axonometric drawing; if the main elements differ, the design unit shall make the necessary changes), and affix the as-built drawing stamp to it.
It is generally not required by the contract; the design unit does not provide axonometric drawings, and the construction unit creates single-line drawings based on the process drawings. The same applies to the as-built drawings – if the contract does not require it, then the as-built drawings do not include single-line drawings
