For the design of petroleum and chemical industry projects, the specifications state that blue-type filters should be used for heavy oils, while T or Y-type filters are appropriate for light oils such as gasoline and diesel, in order to prevent cavitation in pumps. For CNPC, both the construction standards for its oil depots and the actual construction of these depots involve the use of the Blue style for both gasoline and diesel. What factors led to this choice?
Blue-style filter: easy to clean, and does not affect the height or layout of the pipes
These should all work fine; the Blue model is easy to clean, while the Y/T model is more troublesome to clean
