Wavy pattern on storage tank wall panels

Dear seniors, during the installation of the wall panels, it was observed that there are numerous wavy patterns on them (see image below). These patterns become more apparent in well-lit conditions. I’m wondering how experts handle such issues; thank you very much
This post was last edited by The wise on 2018-1-16 at 12:49. If it does not affect the strength of the storage tank, cover it up for aesthetic reasons during external insulation.
Apart from insulation, which involves a lot of work and takes a long time, I’m not sure if there are other methods, such as using paint or something similar
Maybe the wall panel hasn’t been pressed with a rolling trigger! It really shouldn’t be if it weren’t. Also, the layout seems too long; it’s probably over 12 meters
This is due to quality issues with the rolling trigger used by the contractor; either the force exerted by the rolling trigger is insufficient, or the tank wall panels are too thick； It affects aesthetics, but it should have little impact on strength ；
It’s something like a plate measuring around 2*10 meters; the wall panels at the bottom should be quite thick – it’s impossible to create such a structure without using a rolling machine
This is the first time I’ve seen a sheet rolling machine that doesn’t perform continuous rolling?
This is because, when manufacturing large tanks on-site, no sheet metal rolling machine was used for shaping them. Generally, large tanks are made from thin sheets with a thickness of 6mm–12mm; due to their large diameter, they are shaped into an arc using a winch.
