How to implement TPM management: As production and processing systems become more systematic and intelligent, high-quality production equipment and skilled workers constitute the foundation for safe production in enterprises. They ensure the quality of the products manufactured, and represent an important means of improving a company’s economic performance; they are, in essence, the guarantees that enable enterprises to achieve significant economic benefits. It must be admitted that TPM management is important in corporate production, but it is unclear how to implement TPM management 1. TPM management preparation phase: The task at this stage is to develop a TPM plan and create a suitable natural environment and atmosphere. Specifically, there are 4 tasks: ① Formulating plans for promoting the introduction of TPM management methods and managing employees, in order to establish a foundation of awareness throughout the company; ② Establishing a TPM promotion committee within the organization, granting it authority and responsibilities, and also forming various technical expert teams to oversee the implementation of TPM, provide training, and address the challenges that arise on the job site; ③ Establishing basic TPM preventive measures and guiding principles. 2. TPM management implementation phase: The tasks at this stage are to set goals, implement and improve relevant mechanisms, and carry out extensive work. The implementation phase represents a challenge in terms of execution strength; figuring out how to implement TPM management programs effectively is the difficulty faced by every company when adopting such programs. Specifically, there are 5 tasks: ① Formulating preventive measures to improve the overall efficiency of mechanical equipment: Establishing collaborative teams composed of experts from various fields, including equipment engineers, operators, and maintenance staff, to systematically select different types of equipment, summarize experience on a broad scale, and achieve a comprehensive approach. ②Establish separate maintenance procedures: Address the traditional issue of defining responsibilities and authorities, where \"I carry out the actual operations while you handle the maintenance,\" and help the staff involved in the operation process develop the confidence and awareness that they are capable of performing maintenance on their own, with everyone taking responsibility for the mechanical equipment. ③Develop a proper maintenance plan, which should be integrated with the individual maintenance activities planned by the collaboration team, and adjust this plan through research based on the progress of those activities. ④Training to improve operational and maintenance expertise: Train the right people, tailor the instruction to individual needs, and conduct training in a structured manner. ⑤Establish early management procedures for mechanical equipment: The initial management methods for such equipment should take into account the concepts of maintenance avoidance and maintenance-free design. During the stages of equipment selection (or product development based on design concepts), installation, adjustment, and trial operation, the equipment should be improved based on test results and any difficulties that arise. 3. TPM management promotion phase: The tasks at this stage are to evaluate the results of TPM, address any shortcomings, and establish overall goals and plans for the next phase, so that the TPM management approach can be applied in a sustainable and effective manner to enhance the company’s economic performance as soon as possible. TPM management is an activity involving all members, requiring everyone to assume relative responsibilities. At the beginning, it is the leadership layer, which can serve as a role model for employees. It is necessary to ensure effective internal communication, so that everyone has a clear guiding principle for implementing TPM equipment maintenance and management practices. Only in that way can all members have a direction to strive toward, preventing the company from going too far in its processes and thus exceeding higher guiding principles!
