Modular design and construction of tank farms

Dear marine industry professionals, we are currently preparing a project for the construction of a tank farm. I was wondering if anyone has experience with using pipelines or equipment from tank farms as modules for design and construction purposes? In simple terms, for example, the control valve assembly functions as a module, similar to skid-mounted equipment; it is arranged collectively during piping design, installed uniformly by the valve manufacturer and transported to the site, where only the connections for the inlet and outlet pipelines need to be made.
Flow meters that are part of a skid can be used, as well as pumps and related components.
What I’m talking about is a bit different from using the device as a lever
