Is SPC statistics applicable in the production of chemical raw materials?

Recently, we have been in contact with LED clients who are asking us to provide SPC statistical data. We produce chemical raw materials such as solvents; we weren’t familiar with SPC before, and after doing some research, I feel like it’s still hard to understand right away. It is understood that SPC is widely used in industries such as automobile manufacturing, machining, and electronic components. I wonder if it is applicable in the production of chemical raw materials as well?
