The filling coefficient for ordinary liquid storage tanks is 0.9 to 0.95. Due to the special properties of carbon dioxide, the filling coefficient for ordinary steel cylinders is 0.6 to 0.65. Is the same requirement applied to storage tanks as well, or what is the filling coefficient when the full-flow valve designed by the tank’s manufacturers opens? Thank you~
What size is the storage tank? What are the criteria? I recommend that you take a look at clause 4.9.1 of GB/T18442.3 regarding the rated filling ratio: For containers filled with cryogenic media, in their initial filled state, the volume of the liquid phase when filled with non-explosive media should not exceed 95% of the geometric volume of the inner container, while for media that are explosive, this volume should not exceed 90% of the geometric volume of the inner container. 4.9.2 The container shall be equipped with devices to facilitate the limitation of the filling volume, such as overflow devices.

A design that is easy to vaporize has a relatively low filling coefficient; you can check the design drawings for this information
