The structure of the Toyota Production System was developed by Taiichi Ohno and Eiji Toyoda, and it is used to explain the evolving Toyota System to employees and suppliers. It is a approach that involves every employee in solving problems by using the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) method, in order to improve quality, costs, delivery times, safety, and employee morale.
