Is there a service life or mandatory retirement period for the loading/unloading nozzles used with tank trucks? If so, which document does this regulation refer to? Please let me know
It seems that only certain special types of equipment have specified service life limits. Generally, it is up to the companies themselves to decide based on depreciation and operational conditions; as long as it is not equipment that needs to be phased out due to technical issues, companies can determine the course of action by considering the cost-benefit ratio of repairs versus replacements. Just my opinion; let’s see if anyone else has any other arguments
It is recommended to follow the practices used for special equipment in terms of daily management; no clear regulations have been established regarding the service life
