The purpose of adding a nitrogen seal is not only to reduce the evaporation of oil and gas, but also to supply nitrogen promptly in case of a fire in the oil tank, thereby isolating air and controlling the spread of the fire as quickly as possible.
Was the nitrogen sealing for that storage tank not designed in accordance with the requirement of using nitrogen sealing for Class A B and Class B A tanks?
Add a nitrogen inlet to the equipment, ensuring that the pressure inside the tank does not exceed 0.1 MPa
It’s better to add a nitrogen seal for formaldehyde as well; it’s at least safer for one’s own health
Fire hazard is just one of the factors to consider; nitrogen blanketing also takes into account the needs for explosion prevention and preventing the deterioration of the stored products.
