I. Safety Management Manual before the Arrival of Cold Weather I. General Requirements 1. Prepare snow removal equipment. 5. Ensure that portable heaters are equipped with safety interlocks, have sufficient fuel, and can operate normally. 6. Specify the priority order for steam usage to ensure the operation of critical equipment, and install an appropriate steam tracing system. 7. Place the thermometer in an area where fragile equipment is stored and where heating is not possible. 8. Do not stop operation during prolonged low-temperature conditions. 9. For certain equipment (such as pumps, fans, and compressors), especially those installed outdoors or in rooms without heating, lubricants suitable for low-temperature conditions should be used. 11. For idle air conditioning systems, the water in the oil cooler and water jacket should be drained, and the condenser of the chiller must be emptied. 12. Ensure an adequate supply of fuel, especially for those fuels whose supply contracts may be interrupted. Understand the location of the main groundwater pipelines. Ensure sufficient coverage depth, especially in areas where construction, excavation, or erosion occurs. 3. For critical areas, it is necessary to check not only the daytime temperatures but also the nighttime and weekend temperatures. Use alarm devices connected to security services or continuous patrol services. II. Roof safety inspection checklist 1. Roof collapses do not occur out of nowhere. The amount of snow on the roof should be monitored, and it should be removed before it reaches a dangerous level. 2. The roof should have sufficient drainage outlets, which must remain unobstructed and not clogged by ice. III. IV. Fire protection equipment safety inspection checklist 1. Regularly inspect the wet and dry pipes of the sprinkler system to ensure there is no ice formation. 2. Protect all fire-fighting equipment (such as fire hydrants, hose reels, fire truck connection devices, and spray system control valves) from ice and snow, and ensure easy access to them. 3. Maintain the temperature in the dry-pipe valve rooms of the sprinkler system and in the fire pump rooms at above 4 degrees Celsius (40 degrees Fahrenheit), and in the fire pump rooms driven by diesel engines at above 21 degrees Celsius (70 degrees Fahrenheit). 4. For the gravity water tank and suction water tank, maintain the water temperature above 4 degrees Celsius (40 degrees Fahrenheit).
