On December 30, 2022, the EO/EG bottleneck removal and renovation project passed the completion inspection. Lin Xu, vice president of Fujian United Petrochemical Company, attended the completion inspection meeting, acknowledging the work done in terms of safety, quality, schedule, investment, and contract management, and expressing his gratitude to all the companies involved in the project for their hard work. He emphasized the need to summarize the advanced management practices of these projects in order to further improve and enhance the company’s project management capabilities. Representatives from Fujian Refining and Chemicals’ Development Planning Department, representatives from relevant departments of the company, and relevant personnel from the construction units attended the meeting, while the members of the acceptance committee signed the completion acceptance certificate. It is reported that the company’s EO/EG capacity expansion project was successfully completed and put into operation on December 5, 2021. By replacing high-performance catalysts and adjusting the operating conditions of the reaction process without changing the EO oxidation reaction cycle system, this project increased the designed production capacity of EO, thereby becoming a new source of growth that helped boost the company’s gross profit.
